Hold.
Press the Core for one second. It's the only button, and it doesn't look like one.

Locara One
A single Core that clicks onto your choice of strap. Hold it for one second and your iPhone rings, even on silent.
About Locara
No more asking someone “can you ring my phone for me?” Down the sofa or under the duvet, wherever it's hiding, hold the bracelet for one second and you'll hear it.
How it works
Press the Core for one second. It's the only button, and it doesn't look like one.
Try it: press and hold the Core
Your iPhone rings out loud, lights up and buzzes, even on silent and locked.
Follow the sound. Pick it up, or hold the bracelet again to stop it.
The sound
Locara turns your iPhone all the way up before it rings, so you'll hear it through cushions, duvets and closed doors. Tested on a real iPhone: locked, on silent, under a pillow.
That's how long you hold it. Nothing else to learn.
Less screen
No display. No notifications. Nothing to check, swipe or scroll. Just a piece of jewellery that does one thing perfectly, and stays out of the way the rest of the time.
Design
The technology lives in the Core, the same shape and size as the strap, so it reads as jewellery, not a gadget. Just a small ripple mark that tells you where to hold.

Colours
Choose your Core and your strap. Straps click in and out, so you can change your look whenever you like.

The strap
A soft woven strap with a soft-touch slider. No sizes to choose, and it pops on and off the Core whenever you want a new look.
Loosen the slider at the back, slip it over your hand, then pull the two ends to tighten. One size fits wrists from about 14 to 22 cm.
Each end of the strap pushes into the Core until it clicks. Press the small release underneath to pop it off, then click in a new colour.
Charging
At night, slip Locara over its little stone dish, any way round. A soft light glows while it charges and fades when it's full. There's room for your rings and earrings too.

Questions
None to choose: Locara is one size. Slide the sleeve at the back to loosen it, slip it over your hand, then pull the two ends to tighten. It fits wrists from about 14 to 22 cm.
iPhone first. Android is planned.
Locara uses Bluetooth, so it's made for your home: the bedroom, the sofa, the kitchen. It's not for a phone you left at the pub.
Yes, after a one-minute setup in the Locara app. It uses an iPhone Shortcut that runs even when the app has been swiped away, and turns your volume up at the same time.
A fine woven nylon with stretchy threads, soft like a fabric watch strap. It comes in black or white, and it clicks in and out of the Core, so you can swap it any time. More styles are on the way.
No. No screen, no notifications, nothing to check. It looks like a simple bracelet: a Core on a woven strap, and the Core is the button.
Drop it over the stone dish that comes in the box, any way round. A small light glows while it charges and fades when it's full. One charge should last about a week. The dish comes with a 1 m USB-C cable that works with any USB-C phone plug or laptop.
That's the plan. Everything is sealed inside with no ports, it charges wirelessly and the woven strap dries quickly. We'll confirm the official water rating once it's tested.
